Privacy policy

Your files and text never leave your device. All analysis happens inside your browser. ProofLens has no server that receives, stores or logs the content you check.

What the app loads from third parties

• Fonts are served by Google Fonts (your browser requests font files from Google).
• If you choose “Run deep analysis”, your browser downloads a small AI model file from the Hugging Face CDN, once. The model runs locally; your text is not sent anywhere.
• The site itself is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, pages requested).

Optional feedback

After a check you can tell us whether the content was actually human- or AI-made. If you do, only anonymous signal scores are sent — never your content, file names or any identifier. This helps calibrate future versions and is entirely optional.

Cookies and advertising

ProofLens does not set cookies of its own and uses no analytics that identify you. If advertising is ever enabled on this site, ads would be served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve and measure ads; visitors in the UK and EU would be shown a consent message first. No advertising is currently active.

Support payments

Voluntary tips are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages; ProofLens never sees your card details.
